What is my Prerogative?

SLO Symphony: check it out at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrjoU0RveRQ

Last weekend I went to a concert at the Preforming Arts center where we watched the talented musicians play the most beautiful music I have ever heard live! It made me realize how passionate these people where and how much they must practice in order to get so good; much like musicians, I must also practice discipline in order to become a master at what I want to preform.
What are some important things in your life that you haven't been putting enough of your life into?

  1. We're so glad you had a wonderful experience at the SLO symphony. Music can truly touch hearts.
Thanks for the question. Some people say it takes 1000 hours of practice to become proficient at anything. So if I practice an instrument 1 hr / day I'll get there in 3 yrs. I'm starting to learn Braille -- 3hrs/day and I might be somewhat proficient in one year.
Of course, we can never put enough time into prayer, but thankfully work done in a spirit of service is akin to worship.
